Internal Pipe Blasters

Internal pipes demand a high degree of surface cleanliness before coating. But limited in their shapes, pipe interiors are not easy to access. This requires high-standard internal pipe blasting equipment.

Internal pipe blasting equipment can quickly, effectively, and reliably remove mill scales, rust, paint coatings, dust contaminants, and other residue from inaccessible areas inside the piping. The operation is simple: a blast hose is fitted with a pipe tool, and the operator manually or with a semi-automatic winch system withdraws the internal pipe blast attachment through the length of the pipe at a contact speed based on the required blast standard.

1.      Internal Pipe Blasting Nozzle UIP-360°

UIP-360° is designed to blast the interior of pipes ranging in size from 2.5" to 5" I.D. (60mm to 125mm). The nozzle connected an abrasive blast machine in place of a standard nozzle. In operation, the nozzle directs the air/abrasive mixture at a deflection tip. This tip causes the blast pattern to fan out into a wide, circular pattern, which blasts the inside of the pipe as the nozzle is passed through. 

l  Suitable for Pipe I.D. 2.5" to 5" (60mm to 125mm).

l  Exchangeable deflection tips can be made from both tungsten carbide (TC) and boron carbide (BC).

l  Aluminum jacket with two types of threads available: 2”(50mm) Contractor Coarse Thread and 1-1/4” Fine Thread. Fits all standard nozzle holders.

2.      Internal Pipe Blasting Nozzle UIP-360°L-1

UIP-360°L1 is designed to blast the interior of pipes ranging in size from 3/4"(ca. 18 mm) to 2" (ca. 50 mm). The nozzle connected an abrasive blast machine in place of a standard nozzle. In operation, the nozzle directs the air/abrasive mixture at a deflection tip. This tip causes the blast pattern to fan out into a wide, circular pattern, which cleans the inside of the pipe as the nozzle is passed through.

l  Suitable for Pipe I.D. 3/4" to 2" (18mm to 50mm).

l  Exchangeable deflection tips are made from tungsten carbide (TC).

l  Can be attached to an adaptor nozzle with ¾" BSP fine thread or 50mm contractor coarse thread.

l  The extension pieces can be delivered in 200, 250, 550, 750, or even 1000mm in length.

3.      Internal Pipe Blasting Nozzle UIP-360°L-2

UIP-360°L2 is designed to blast the pipe ID size from 1.25” (ca. 35mm) to 4” (ca. 100mm). It has an exchangeable tungsten carbide deflection tip which spreads the abrasive in 360º. It only fits ½ blast hose which can be ordered at required lengths.

l  Suitable for Pipe I.D. 1.25" to 4" (35mm to 100mm).

l  Exchangeable deflection tips are made from tungsten carbide (TC).

l  Fits ½ blast hose which can be ordered at required lengths.

4.      Internal Pipe Blast Tool UPBT-1

The UPBT-1 Internal Pipe Blast Tool is ideal to blast pipes ID from 2" (50mm) to 12" (300mm). It consists of a tungsten-carbide nozzle in a venturi type with a tungsten carbide circular deflection tip, which blasts abrasive media in a continuous circle pattern. The tungsten carbide materials ensure low wear and long service life. Centering collars and carriage allow fitting the UPBT-1 to any pipe with an inner diameter between 3" (75mm) and 12" (300mm). With the centering collars it can be used in the 3" (75mm) to 5" (125mm) I.D. pipe range. With a centering carriage, it is adjustable to handle all diameters between 5" (125mm) and 12" (300mm) I.D.

l  Suitable for Pipe I.D. 2" to 12" (50mm to 300mm).

l  Exchangeable deflection tips are made from tungsten carbide (TC).

l  With centering collars for small pipe diameters and a centering carriage for blasting larger diameters pipes.

5. Internal Pipe Blast Tool UPBT-2

The UPBT-2 Internal Pipe Blast Tool has a rotating head that is driven by the force of the compressed air escaping the two nozzles. Different tungsten carbide or boron carbide nozzles can be chosen depending on the pipe diameters and compressed air capacities.

The carriage is adjustable from 12" (300mm) to 36" (900mm) inside diameter.
